The Philippine government has introduced several policies to encourage renewable energy. The Renewable Energy Act of 2008 provides incentives such as tax breaks and other benefits to encourage companies to invest in renewable energy projects. The National Renewable Energy Program also sets targets for increasing the country’s renewable energy capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In recent years, the government has expanded these efforts by holding renewable energy auctions, opening the sector to greater foreign investment, and offering more incentives to investors. These policies aim to speed up the country’s shift away from fossil fuels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These programs have helped attract investments and increase renewable energy projects.
