Ang gastos sa pag-install ng solar panels o iba pang renewable energy systems ay lampas sa kakayahan ng karamihan ng mga sambahayan\u2014umaabot sa humigit-kumulang Php150,000 hanggang Php300,000, o katumbas ng ilang taon ng bayarin sa kuryente para sa isang karaniwang pamilya.\n\nSamantala, maraming maliliit na komunidad ang walang sapat na akses sa pautang, teknikal na tulong, at suporta mula sa pamahalaan dahil mahigpit ang mga kinakailangan. Kasabay nito, marami sa mga proyekto sa renewable energy ay pinaplano at ipinapatupad ng malalaking korporasyon na may limitadong partisipasyon mula sa mga apektadong komunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May iba pang hadlang na kinakaharap ang mga komunidad, tulad ng magulong mga patakaran, kakulangan sa impormasyon, at kakulangan ng mga programang sumusuporta sa maliliit o pag-aari ng komunidad na renewable energy projects. Dahil dito, kahit lumalawak ang paggamit ng renewable energy, nananatiling mga konsyumer lamang ang karamihan ng mga tao sa halip na maging aktibong bahagi sa paglikha at pamamahala ng sarili nilang pinagkukunan ng kuryente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Labing-apat na taon matapos maipasa ang Renewable Energy Law, mahigit 7,700 kabahayan pa lamang ang napakuryente gamit ang solar power noong Oktubre 2022. Hanggang Marso 2026, mahigit 22,000 kabahayan pa lamang sa buong bansa ang gumagamit ng solar photovoltaic (PV) technology\u2014patunay na nananatiling mabagal ang paglawak ng maliliit at pangkomunidad na renewable energy sa Pilipinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para maging tunay na para sa lahat ang renewable energy, dapat gawing mas madali\u2014hindi mas mahirap\u2014para sa mga ordinaryong Pilipino na makilahok at makinabang dito.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many Filipinos still find it difficult to benefit directly from renewable energy.
