Through IBON’s periodic Facts & Figures and semi-annual Birdtalk research publications, issues exposing the government’s exclusionary economics and governance and continued adherence to the market-based neoliberal framework are featured. Through its new research books such as Green Works, Critical Condition, Disaster upon Disaster, and Food in Peril, IBON brings the issues of grassroots sectors and communities to the knowledge of a broader audience.

IBON bridges its research and education services to the broad public with its complete line of grade school and high school Araling Panlipunan textbooks framed in the promotion of pro-people economics and transformative education. IBON’s textbooks and teachers’ manuals, along with student modules and journals on Philippine, Asian and World geography, history and civics, are written with IBON’s analytical implementation of K-to-12. Schools subscribe to these formal education materials, but these are also available in the IBON bookshop for walk-in clients.

Discounts of 80% on all IBON titles with 2014 and earlier copyright, and 40% on all titles with 2015 copyright will be given until April 21. Until May 15 the group also offers 50-75% off on IBON titles with 2015 copyright and 2014 and earlier copyright, respectively to all UP Faculty members in solidarity and sympathy with them in the light of the fire that razed the UP Faculty Center in Diliman Quezon City.
